Tagged Out - Elk Diaphragm Call

Exactly what i needed for season

This call is perfect for me. The latex is thick enough to bugle but light enough for controlled soft cow calls. The tone for me seems to be a little higher pitch than some of my other diaphragm calls. That slightly higher pitch I think works well for Estrus and even lost calf sounds.

First use, I took my brother-in-law from OK out an OTC CO archery elk hunt (when they still allowed those for nonresidents). We hiked in about 3/4 mile and came on a nice looking meadow. I did 3 soft cow sounds with this call and the forest lit up around us. We had multiple bugles, had two bulls charge into the meadow, and another bull bugling out of sight. Within 10 minutes one of the bulls came into 23 yards and provided a shot.

Only issue was the hunt lasted all of 30 minutes after he just made the flight in earlier that day. That was obviously super lucky and far from the norm but the Tagged Out diaphragm call did it's job and everything else just fell into place.

Just picked up another Tagged Out call hoping it brings good luck again in the 2025 season.

They are just the right size for my palate and the sound is very good

Didn't like it as well as the the older ones. Latex not as thick couldn't bugle with it but easy for cow calls. Glad I found a couple of the older model in my bag

This reed is what I've been missing in my bag of tricks great sound and variations. Good grunts to chuckles and you get real raspy sounds that are so realistic you might think your a bull yourself great for those last few steps of bugling them in This is a must for those dedicated to up close and personal calling tagged out perfect name for a perfect mouth reed!!
