Manufacturing/Warehouse Manager 

Position Details 
Salary: Competitive Salary DOE. This position is eligible for the Company Bonus program
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday plus travel and weekend work as needed throughout the year

Born And Raised Outdoors (BRO, LLC.) is looking for an energetic and passionate Manufacturing/Warehouse Manager to join the Born And Raised Team. Currently, we’re seeking a multi-faceted Manufacturing/Warehouse Manager to oversee manufacturing and fulfillment operations at BRO HQ. This skilled multitasker will manage the receiving, handling, storing, manufacturing, picking, and packing activities of the warehouse, ensuring that quality standards are met or exceeded. They must achieve inventory accuracy, coordinate order fulfillment, and track lead/shipping times for thousands of orders every month. The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail-oriented and able to manage multiple facets of the manufacturing/warehouse operations simultaneously.

Overview - Manufacturing/Warehouse Manager 

  • Ensure that the manufacturing/warehouse operates at peak efficiency — with customer satisfaction the primary goal — by supervising, organizing, and training warehouse/manufacturing employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals.

  • Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, raw materials inventory, lean manufacturing, finished goods and shipping methods. 

  • Develop purchasing supply chain logistics and lean manufacturing strategies for operations. 

  • Integrate ERP software to manage purchasing, production, and inventory.

  • Train and manage the manufacturing/warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals. 

  • Oversee daily operations while controlling and managing inventory and logistics.

  • Review and prepare workflows, staffing requirements, space allocations, equipment layouts, and action plans that meet company standards for productivity, quality, and customer service. 

  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures and by complying with legal regulations. 

  • Develop department Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to help report profitability and status of manufacturing and order fulfillment. 

  • Creating, Implementing and reconciling departmental budgets for manufacturing and warehouse.

  • Oversee and manage logistics for transporting products to customers and company facilities, communicating with drivers and air partners to ensure efficient delivery of packages. 

  • Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service.

  • Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance when necessary.

Management Duties - Key Result Areas 

  • Schedule and oversee manufacturing/warehouse team, manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime. 

  • Develop and manage a budget for manufacturing/warehouse both in inventory and production of components based on quarterly sales goals. 

  • Determine key operations goals and metrics of success. 

  • Meet regularly with manufacturing/warehouse leads to analyze productivity and develop actionable plans for improved manufacturing efficiency and quality control.

  • Develop and document operations team performance goals and personal development.

  • Responsible for the strategic planning of the Manufacturing/Warehouse team growth, with respects to recruitment, onboarding, training, performance goals and possible disciplinary issues. 

  • Embody and reinforce the BRO culture. 

  • All other duties deemed necessary for this position. 

Required Skills and Qualifications 

  • Minimum requirement of an Associate Degree. 

  • In lieu of educational requirements, five or more years of experience as a warehouse manager or Manufacturing/Warehouse manager will be accepted. 

  • Proficiency with manufacturing/warehouse procedures and policies. 

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities. 

  • Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff. 

  • Ability to deliver effective feedback, both written and verbal.
